EMS Dolorclast® Radial ShockWave therapy is an adjunctive therapy, administered by applying a hand-held probe directly over the injured tissue. HOW DOES IT WORK?
The “shockwaves” breakdown Substance P (a chemical needed to feel pain). With complete depletion of substance P, pain pathways are altered reducing the level of pain felt. The treatment also sees vascularisation and osteoneogenesis occur, increasing blood flow, reduces inflammation, stimulates collagen release and dissolution of calcium build up, all of which are create the perfect conditions for optimal healing in the body.
